Navigate to https://www.mathworks.com/academia/tah-portal/university-of-maryland-eastern-shore-31434276.html to register for your free Matlab License with your student e-mail address. Click the sign in button and sign in with your UMES E-mail. It will send a verification to your campus mailbox and then you will be able to insert information and set up your Matlab Account.
Upon logging in, you can access Matlab online via the button Get started followed by Open MATLAB Online
